US Orders: Shipped domestically from our US fulfillment center.
Rest of World: Shipped from our headquarters in Norway.

Delivery & Tracking

United States: Shipped via UPS. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days.
International: Shipped via DHL Express. Delivery typically takes 1–7 business days depending on your location. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking details to monitor the estimated delivery date.

Shipping to the United States (DDP)

We ship US orders domestically or on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis. This means the price you see at checkout is final—you will not face any unexpected customs duties or import charges. * Sales Tax: Depending on your state, sales tax may be applied at checkout if legally required.

Returns: If you return your watch, customs duties cannot be refunded. Any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees incurred by Straum during the import process will be deducted from your refund.
Important Information: US customs officials may require your Social Security Number (SSN) or Tax ID to clear shipments of high value. This is a federal requirement we cannot override. If this information is not provided upon request, the shipment will be returned to us, and the customer will be responsible for all related return shipping fees.

Shipping to Norway & Switzerland

Norway: All prices include Norwegian VAT (calculated at checkout). Orders are shipped domestically within Norway.
Switzerland: All prices include VAT. Orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning no additional fees are due upon delivery.

Shipping to the Rest of the World (DAP)

Orders outside the US, Norway, and Switzerland are shipped on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis.

Responsibilities: You are the importer of record and are responsible for all import duties, VAT, clearance fees, or brokerage charges assessed by your local authorities. These are typically collected by the courier at the time of delivery.
Returns: We cannot refund duties or import fees for DAP shipments. Any charges incurred by Straum for returned packages will be deducted from the final refund.
Local Regulations: We recommend contacting your local customs office for details on potential fees before placing your order.

Your Straum timepiece is built to last. We stand behind our craftsmanship and warrant our watches, bracelets (including clasps, links, pins, screws), and straps against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase.

If you need to send your watch for service, please do not include any packaging you wish to keep—shipping materials may be discarded upon receipt.

What’s Not Covered:

Damage caused by misuse, impact, or improper handling
Normal wear and aging of straps and accessories
Unauthorized modifications or repairs
Water damage resulting from a broken or improperly sealed case

Free Worldwide Shipping

For US orders, we ship domestically wihin the US. For all other orders we ship from Norway. We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over $200 USD.

Delivery & Tracking

International orders are shipped with DHL Express, and delivery typically takes 1–7 days depending on your location. U.S. domestic orders are shipped with UPS. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email from the shipping courier containing shipment confirmation and tracking details so you can monitor the estimated delivery date.

Shipping to the United States (DDP)

We ship U.S. orders domestically, or with 'DDP' (Delivered Duties Paid), which means you will not face any unexpected customs duties or import charges.
Depending on your state, sales tax may be applied at checkout if legally required.
If you return your watch, customs duties cannot be refunded. Any duties, taxes, or fees that we've incurred will be deducted from your refund.

Important: U.S. customs officials may require your Social Security Number or Tax ID to clear your shipment. We cannot override or avoid this request. If you do not provide the requested information when asked, your shipment will be returned to us and you will be responsible for any related shipping fees for the return.

Change in Duties:
If U.S. customs duties or import charges change between the time your order is placed and the time it is delivered, we will reach out to you in due time to settle the difference.

Orders placed before February 10th
All orders placed before February 10th will follow our previous shipping policy (as stated at the time of purchase), with all shipments sent as DAP (Delivered at Place).

Shipping to Norway

All final prices include Norwegian VAT (calculated at checkout).
We ship Norwegian orders domestically in Norway.

Orders placed before April 24th
All orders placed before April 24th will follow our previous shipping policy (as stated at the time of purchase). VAT will not be included, and all shipments will be sent as DAP (Delivered at Place).

Shipping to Switzerland

All prices include VAT.
Orders are shipped 'DDP' (Delivered Duties Paid).

Shipping to the Rest of the World (DAP)

Delivery At Place (DAP): Orders outside the U.S., Norway and Switzerland are shipped on a DAP basis. You will be responsible for any import duties, clearance fees, brokerage fees, VAT, or other charges assessed by your local authorities.
Payment of Duties & Fees: These charges are typically paid on delivery. If you return your watch, we cannot refund duties or other import-related fees, and any charges we incur will be deducted from your refund.
