We do not offer in-person collections at this time. All Straum timepieces are delivered directly to you via secure shipping.

All final prices include Norwegian VAT, calculated at checkout. We ship Norwegian orders domestically within Norway — no customs, no import charges.

Orders outside the U.S. and Norway are shipped on a DAP (Delivery At Place) basis. You will be responsible for any import duties, clearance fees, VAT, or other charges assessed by your local authorities. These charges are typically paid on delivery. You are deemed the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Customs officials may require a Tax ID or similar documentation.

We've made shopping from the US simple. When you order a Straum, the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay. Orders ship domestically from our US fulfillment center or Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — we handle all customs and import duties for you. Depending on your state, sales tax may be applied at checkout if legally required.

Most U.S. orders ship domestically and never pass through customs. If a shipment does cross the border, U.S. customs may request a Tax ID to clear it; the carrier will contact you directly if that happens. Unclaimed shipments are returned to us, and return shipping is deducted from your refund. If U.S. customs duties or import charges change between the time your order is placed and the time it is delivered, we will reach out to you in due time to settle the difference.

We offer free worldwide shipping on orders over $200 USD. International orders ship with DHL Express, and delivery typically takes 1–7 days depending on your location. U.S. domestic orders ship with UPS. Orders placed before 11 AM CET typically ship the same day. We ship from Norway and the United States. All goods are declared at their original purchase value for customs purposes.

No. Most U.S. orders ship domestically; the rest ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Either way, you will not face any unexpected customs duties or import charges.

We don't ship to hotels. Hotel deliveries have a high rate of lost or misrouted packages, and once a watch goes missing we have very limited recourse with the carrier.

Please use a home or work address where you can receive the package directly. If you're traveling when your order is ready to ship, get in touch and we'll hold it until you're back.

We attend a variety of watch fairs throughout the year. Watch fairs are a great place to meet our team and try on our watches. Yes, our watches are rated at minimum 10 ATM/100 meters.

Our Jan Mayen collection features an integrated connection, however, by purchasing our Strap Adapters you can use any 20mm strap of your choice. The Jan Mayen case size is 39mm in diameter. A Micro-adjust clasp is available for purchase separately and will fit all existing Straum bracelets.

Our Stainless Steel products are all made from 316L Stainless Steel. Our Titanium products are all Grade 5 Titanium. We also use sapphire crystal glass, premium leather, and FKM Rubber.

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. We do not cover variations in refund amounts due to changes in currency exchange rates. Customs duties you've already paid cannot be refunded. Likewise, any duties, taxes, or fees that Straum incurred will be deducted from your refund.

We have a 14-day return policy after receiving your item. The item must be in the same condition received—unworn or unused, with tags and protective films, and in its original packaging. All returned watches are examined under a high level of magnification for surface scratches. If the strap has been used or marked, a refund will only be granted on the watch itself. Non-returnable items include custom products (special orders or personalized items) and gift cards. The European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period applies, with exceptions for certain bespoke pre-ordered products. Returns must be initiated by contacting support@straum.co.

Yes, if a Straum watch is purchased secondhand, the 2-year limited warranty transfers to the new owner. The warranty remains effective from the original order’s warranty start — the date of delivery of the original order (where delivery cannot be confirmed, no later than five days after shipment; where no delivery date can be established, the date of purchase). The warranty window does not start over with a new owner.

All watches come with a 2-year limited warranty. Watches are identifiable with a serial number inside the watch, but we do not deliver a physical warranty card. The warranty does not cover: damage from mistreatment or improper use, wear and tear, or hardware modifications.
