The Capsule
Every Jan Mayen comes bundled with a Straum Capsule, designed to keep your watch protected against the elements and is machined from a single block of aluminium and surface treated with a HA1 Hard Anodization process to increase durability.
Grade 5 Titanium Case
Crafted in Grade 5 Titanium, the 38.7mm case offers a superior strength-to-weight ratio, combining lightweight durability with refined finishing—bead-blasted surfaces, polished highlights, and crisp edge transitions.
The Straum Coupling
Machined from Grade 5 Titanium, the Straum Coupling integrates a push-button quick-release system for fast, tool-free strap changes—seamlessly housed within our signature midlink.
FKM Rubber Bands
The FKM Rubber Bands integrate seamlessly into the case via the Straum Coupling in Grade 5 Titanium. The curved tip follows the wrist's natural shape, while the raised profile improves ventilation. They pair with the Straum buckle, machined from Grade 5 Titanium.
Grade 5 Titanium Bracelet
Custom designed and CNC-machined from Grade 5 Titanium, hardened to a minimum of 1200 Vickers, the bracelet tapers across its first five links, from 24.8mm at the lugs to 18mm at the clasp. Two 130% links are included for a precise fit, and the push-button butterfly clasp carries our micro-adjust system as standard: 4mm of on-the-fly sizing across three positions, without opening the clasp. A push-button quick-release lets you swap between bracelet and rubber strap in seconds.
