About us

Straum was founded by industrial designers Lasse Roxrud Farstad and Øystein Helle Husby, who met in design school and reconnected in 2017 with the ambition to start our own brand and develop our own products. With shared roots in Norway’s wilderness—camping, fishing, and hiking—we set out to honor Norway’s raw beauty.

We design and engineer all our products, with an uncompromising focus on quality and finishing to ensure each watch captures Raw Norwegian Nature. In 2021, we launched our first collection, bringing that vision to life.
