FKM Rubber Straps

The FKM strap integrates seamlessly into the case via the Straum Coupling. Its curved tip follows the wrist’s natural shape, while the raised profile improves ventilation. It’s paired with the Straum buckle, machined from Grade 5 titanium.

Jan Mayen Black Sand unveils the battered coastline of Jan Mayen, with its foreboding beaches made of black volcanic sand. The dial's jagged ridges capture the underwater landscape of miniature dunes, shaped by the perpetual motion of water. Delicate vertical stripes spring to life under specific lighting conditions, showcasing nature's boundless creativity crafted with only two elements––sand and water.

The Jan Mayen Titanium uses the LJP G101 by La Joux-Perret—an automatic, dateless movement with a 68-hour power reserve. Graded Soigné and adjusted in four positions, it’s visible through a sapphire screw-down caseback.

Manufacturing process

We carefully sculpt every dial detail in CAD software and then CNC machine a series of stamping tools with increasing fidelity. These are then used to stamp brass blanks in multiple stages, adding finer and finer details. Next, we apply multiple coatings, lacquers and fumés to establish depth and dimension. A final layer of clear coat is polished to a glass-like finish, resulting in a truly captivating visual experience. The applied logo and indices ensure contrast and legibility, while the ultra-sharp diamond-cut hands complement the intricately finished watch case. Additionally, all elements are coated with applied Super-LumiNova BGW9 for optimal visibility.
